TWO wooden Bass Clarinets offered for YOU: late '60's vintage when quality was trusted standard; to Eb (intermediate); played now, working condition, evaluated as playing well above average for class of instrument. Ready to play. Recommended alternative to imports of inferior quality (!), band musician, doubler, student, community orchestra, school band, youth orchestra. Good reliable instruments that are ready to play at a reasonable price that have been kept up, maintained in playing condition (A major advantage as it is sometimes difficult to find repairs for bass clarinets.) In use now so you know they will fit in to your needs. Will likely please your director. Nice "clarinet" sound.  You pay postage, however, since I am just a private individual. Mouthpiece and reeds not included.
1. Noblet: very good condition, no cracks, little wear for age, case included $1500.
2. Leblanc: good condition, wear on keys per age, age to wood but no leaks and does not affect performance. $1200. Case included.

JEAN MARTIN wooden "stencil" Bb Clarinet in performance condition, looks similar to a Buffet clarinet, made in France of unknown vintage (key design looks 1920's to 1940's), From a time when quality was important.  Bohem system, This is NOT the student model often found online. No cracks, nice old time wood, appears silver keys. This would be EXCELLECT alternative if you need a good quality clarinet but cannot quite swing a new wooden Buffet/Selmer/Leblanc clarinet. Insignia VERY close to Buffet design...so kids into logos...will not be obvious it is not the NAME brand. Has value to play now and apply to pro instrument when that time comes. Also great for an adult hobbiest player who is looking to step up but does not want to invest too much. A GEM of a choice for  beginner too. Has been repadded, cleaned up, overhauled by qualified repairman so it is ready to play now! It NEEDS a barrel matched as it came with one that was unmatched to is. I can make recommendtions to help and these can be easily obtained. No mouthpiece or reed included. Case it came in will be included. I "found" it in disrepair and had it restored for someone to love, care for, enjoy, and give it new life. $800. (Accounts for both original cost and getting it into full performance condition, testing for intonation.) You pay postage.
